The security of your personal data is a high priority for us. We protect the data you store with us through technical and organizational measures to effectively prevent misuse by third parties or data loss. In particular, our employees who process personal data are bound by data confidentiality and must comply with it.
To protect your personal data, it is transmitted in encrypted form via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) during online communication through your browser. You can recognize this by the green lock symbol in the top left of your browser during an SSL connection. To ensure the ongoing protection of your data, the technical security measures are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary to meet the latest standards. These principles also apply to companies that process and use data on our behalf according to our instructions.
Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Your Personal Data
Providing personal data is necessary for the following purposes. A refusal would make it impossible for us to conclude and manage a contract with you or to meet contractual and legal obligations.
Subject to your consent, where required by law, we are entitled to collect, process, and use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Customer service and support
  • Establishing and executing contractual relationships
  • Managing our relationship with you, including responding to your inquiries or complaints
  • Ensuring efficient customer relationship management
  • Operation, maintenance, and improvement of our websites and services
  • Management and provision of customer services
  • Handling accounting and tax matters
  • Responding to requests from administrative and judicial authorities
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

The processing of your personal data can be based on the following legal grounds:

  • Art. 6 Para. 1 (a) GDPR: This serves as the legal basis for processing operations where we obtain your consent for a specific processing purpose.
  • Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR: This applies when processing personal data is necessary for fulfilling a contract, such as in the case of inquiries about our services.
  • Art. 6 Para. 1 (c) GDPR: This applies when we are legally obliged to process personal data, such as for tax obligations.
  • Art. 6 Para. 1 (d) GDPR: This applies if the processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of you or another natural person.
  • Art. 6 Para. 1 (f) GDPR: This applies based on our legitimate interests, such as using service providers in the context of order processing (e.g., shipping providers) or conducting statistical surveys and analyses, as well as logging registration procedures. Our interest is in providing a user-friendly, appealing, and secure presentation and optimization of our web offerings, which serve both our business interests and your expectations.

Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties
When sharing your personal data, we always strive for the highest possible level of security. Therefore, your data will only be shared with carefully selected and contractually bound service providers and partner companies. Furthermore, your data will only be transferred to entities within the European Economic Area (EEA), which are subject to the strict EU data protection law or are obliged to comply with equivalent protection standards. Currently, no data is transferred to third countries, and there are no plans for such transfers.

  • Transfer within the company (Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR): We transfer your personal data to affiliated companies in Germany for the conclusion and fulfillment of contracts for services on our websites, storage in central databases, and internal billing and accounting purposes. This is especially necessary to enable you to use all our services. If you contact our customer service hotline with questions or complaints, they will also have access to your order data to process your request.
  • Transfer to service providers (Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) and (f) GDPR): We engage various service providers for the operation and optimization of our websites and services, as well as for contract execution, such as central IT services, website hosting, payment processing, and product delivery. These service providers are granted access to the necessary data (e.g., name, address) to perform their tasks. Some of these companies act as processors for us and may only use the provided data according to our instructions. In this case, we are legally responsible for ensuring appropriate data protection measures with the companies we commission. Therefore, we agree on specific data security measures with these companies and regularly monitor them.
  • Transfer to other third parties (Art. 6 Para. 1 (c) and (f) GDPR): Finally, we will transfer your data to third parties or government authorities under applicable data protection laws if we are legally obliged to do so, such as by administrative or court order, or if we are authorized to do so, such as when pursuing criminal offenses or asserting and enforcing our rights and claims.

Duration of Storage / Routine Deletion of Personal Data
We process and store your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the storage purpose or as required by laws or regulations. Once the purpose ceases or is fulfilled, your personal data will be deleted or blocked.
In cases of data being blocked, deletion will occur as soon as legal, statutory, or contractual retention periods no longer prevent it, there is no reason to believe that deletion would negatively impact your legitimate interests, and deletion does not require disproportionate effort due to the specific nature of the storage.
The collection and storage of the aforementioned personal data, necessary for the operation of the websites to ensure their functionality and to correctly deliver the website content, serve to optimize the websites and ensure the security of our IT systems. These data are stored for a maximum of 7 days as a technical precaution.

We use your data to send you information about our services, promotions, and other actions via email to the address you provided. This is done only with your prior consent or if legally permitted. Consent to such communications is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 (a), Art. 7 GDPR and § 7 Para. 3 UWG.

  • Contact: When you contact us by phone, email, or via a contact form, the data you provide will be stored by us in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 (a) GDPR to respond to your inquiries. The contact process is logged to demonstrate the contact in compliance with legal requirements. When using the contact form, your consent will be obtained, and these data protection notices will be referenced. The data collected in this context will be deleted once the conversation is finished and the matter has been conclusively resolved.
  • Other: Based on Art. 6 Para. 1 (c) and (f) GDPR, we use and store your personal data and technical information to the extent necessary to prevent or pursue abuse or other illegal activities on our websites, such as to maintain data security in the event of attacks on our IT systems. This also occurs when we are legally obliged to do so, such as due to official or court orders, and for the exercise and enforcement of our rights and claims, as well as for legal defense.
